Evidence-backed location
KOTAMON Hidden Treasure Guide: A Repeatable Search Route
Official material confirms hidden treasures that the site owner buys, but no authoritative complete map or coordinate list was available at publication. This route helps you search and document evidence without pretending uncertainty is a location guide.
Set a clean starting boundary
Choose a landmark that is obvious in your current build. Record the build and start time. Do not use a landmark from beta footage unless it is present in your version.
Divide the area into lanes
Walk parallel lanes with a small visual overlap. Clear foreground clutter before inspecting containers so interactable silhouettes are easier to see. Complete a lane before changing direction.
Inspect high-information objects
Prioritize objects the game allows you to inspect, then loose rubbish. The official description says treasures were discarded by mistake or accident but does not promise a particular container type.
Record a find before selling
Write down the nearest stable landmark, route direction, object type, item name, and build. If possible, repeat the route in a later session before calling the location fixed.
Separate spawn from route
If a treasure does not reappear, publish the route as a search route, not a guaranteed spawn. Random placement, one-time state, or progression could explain the difference.
Reset carefully
Use only normal in-game session changes. Do not delete saves or manipulate files to force a respawn. Protecting progress is more valuable than proving an uncertain location.
