KOTAMON Money Guide: Value Cards and Treasures Safely
Official material ties income to hidden treasures and card condition, but it does not publish a best-profit table. Measure your own build rather than trusting invented hourly rates.
BOUNDARY
Evidence boundary Checked August 22, 2026. Demo and pre-release observations are not treated as guaranteed full-release facts.
Separate collection value from sale value
A missing card may advance a color set even when another item shows a higher immediate value. Keep a reference copy before optimizing duplicates.
Protect condition
Official copy says better condition makes a card more expensive. Inspect before handling repair or swap decisions and compare only like-for-like card states.
Use treasures for clear income
The dump-site owner pays for hidden treasures according to the store description. Record the displayed reward rather than assuming every treasure shares a value.
Measure a complete loop
Include search, clearing, travel, sorting, repair, and hand-in time. A fast pickup that causes extra sorting may not improve the full loop.
Upgrade the bottleneck
Spend on the action consuming the largest share of your route. Test one movement, strength, or efficiency change at a time.
Reject external-market framing
Displayed game currency is not cash value. The guide offers no investment, resale, or real-money trading advice.
